Chalonītis (a. Geogr.), Provinz von Assyrien, von Apolloniatis bis zum Gebirge Zagros; j. Theil des Paschaliks Schehrsor. Hauptstadt: Chala, soll das nachmalige Ktesiphon gewesen sein; vielleicht das heutige Kanekin.
