Coenacŭlum (röm. Ant.), 1) Speisezimmer; 2) der obere Theil des römischen Wohnhauses (s.d.); daher Coenacularii, Leute, welche Häuser pachteten, um sie wieder theilweise in Aftermiethe zu geben; 3) (Cönakel), Speisesaal, bes. in Klöstern.
