Doblone, 1) allgemeiner Name mehrerer spanischer Goldmünzen: a) vierfache, Quadrupel, D. de a ocho = 16 Piaster, seit 1772 = 22 Thlr. 22 Sgr. 111/2 Pf.; b) doppelte, D. de a quarto zu 2 Pistolen od. 8 Piaster; c) einfache od. Pistole, D. de oro; d) halbe, Medio Doblon; 2) Name einiger spanischer Rechnungsmünzen: a) D. de plata antigua, alte spanische Wechselpistole = 20,480, b) D. de plata nueva = 20,400, c) D. de oro de Cabeza = 4850 castilianische Dineros; 3) im gewöhnlichen Verkehr wird D. auch für andere spanische Goldmünzen gebraucht; 4) der russische Platina-Doppelducaten wird auch Platina-Dublone genannt.
