Falmouth (spr. Fallmauddh), Viscounttitel der Familie Boscawen von dem Städtchen F. in Cornwall. Bemerkenswerth sind: 1) Hugo, Sohn des 1685 verstorbenen Eduard von Boscawen, war vermählt mit Charlotte Godfrey, einer Nichte von Marlborough (st. 1754); er wurde Groom of the Bedchambre bei dem Prinzen Georg von Dänemark, 1708 Comptroller of his Majestys houshald u. 1714 Mitglied des Geheimen Rathes. Für das Verdienst, die Pläne des James Painter vereitelt zu haben, wurde er 1720 zum Baron Boscawen-Rose u. Viscount F. ernannt; 1724 wurde er Unterschatzmeister von Irland, später Lordwarden der Zinngruben, Schloßhauptmann zu St. Maws Castle u. Recorder der Städte Tregony u. Penryn; st. 1734 in Trefusis. 2) Eduard, Sohn des Vorigen, s.u. Boscawen.
