Mac-Carthy-Reagh (spr. Mäkkardhirih), Graf, geb. 1744 zu Springhouse in Schottland, lebte meist in Frankreich u. st. 1811 in Toulouse. Er war einer der größten Bibliomanen der neuesten Zeit; seine Bibliothek, bes. ausgezeichnet durch die Kostbarkeit ihrer Einbände, wurde 1817 in Paris für fast 500,000 Fr. verkauft.
