Hohm), 1) Henry, Lord Kaimes, geb. 1696 zu Kaimes in Berwickshire, wurde 1724 Advocat in Edinburg, 1752 Assissenrichter, 1763 als Lord Kaimes einer der Oberrichter von Schottland, führte als solcher 1767 die Untersuchung gegen Douglas u. st. am 27. December 1782; englischer Philosoph, dessen Ästhetik, Elements of criticism, Edinb. 1762–65, 2 Bde. (deutsch von J. N. Meinhard, ebd. 1765, 3.
