Serravezza, Flecken in der vormals toscanischen Präfectur Lucca, in einem Thalkessel der nord-westlichen Gebirge von Toscana, wo die von Osten u. Norden herkommenden Bäche Serra u. Vezza sich vereinigen; blühender Handel; 7700 Ew. In der Nähe sind die riesenhaften Marmorfelsen des Monte Altissimo, deren Brüche (welche 1840 entdeckt u. in welchen 1845 eine neue colossale Marmorgrotte aufgefunden wurde) reich sind an ausgezeichnetem Marmor verschiedenster Gattung; Reichthum an Quecksilber in den Bergen.
