Serĭca (Omaloplia Mey.), Gattung der Laubkäfer, Unterkiefer nur am Ende gezähnt u. hart, an der Basis häutig, Fühler neungliedrig, Blätterkolben bei beiden Geschlechtern dreigliedrig, bei dem Männchen länger; Füße nicht sehr lang; diese Käfer sind meist sammtartig behaart; der Schwarzbraune Laubkäfer (S. brunnea), der Feldlaubkäfer (S. ruricola), ferner: S. humeralis, S. variabilis u.a.
