Torquētum, ein veraltetes astronomisches Instrument, wodurch man die Bewegung des Himmelsäquators über dem Horizonte darzustellen suchte. Man brauchte es demnach, den Winkel der Ekliptik mit dem Horizonte, den Tag- u. Nachtbogen, sowie die Länge u. Breite irgend eines Gestirns zu bestimmen.
