Weill, Alexander, geb. 1810 im Elsaß, war früher Redacteur der Berliner Constitutionellen Zeitung, ging nach Paris u. arbeitete hier für demokratische Blätter; 1848 wurde er legitimistischer Schriftsteller u. erhielt 1852 eine Anstellung im Ministerium des Innern in Wien.
