Altaich

Altaich (Altaha), Ober- u. Nieder-A., zwei ehemalige Benedictiner-Abteien im Landgericht Doggendorf im baierischen Kreise Niederbaiern. Nieder-A. war 741 vom Herzog Odilo gegründet; Abt Hermann (1242–1273) ist bes. verdient um die Geschichte dieses Klosters.
