Beregonĭum, alte Hauptstadt Schottlands in dem District Lorn der jetzigen Grafschaft Argyle, am See Etive, beim jetzigen Etive, soll durch Feuer vom Himmel zerstört worden sein. Noch sieht man von ihr eine gepflasterte Straße, welche die Marktstraße heißt; jetzt liegt dort das Dorf Burnaw.
