Dasarătha (Dassaraden, ind. Myth.), Radscha aus dem Geschlechte der Kinder der Sonne, König von Ayodhya im 2. Weltalter. Er hatte 3 Gemahlinnen, Kausalya, Keykeyl u. Sumitra; alle 3 aßen von einem Kuchen u. gebaren Incarnationen des Wischnu: Kausalya den Rama, Keykeyl den Baraden, Sumitra den Lackschmana.
