Ferrier (spr. Ferrieh), 1) Auger, geb. 1513 bei Toulouse, studirte Medicin in Montpellier u. ging 15.10 nach Paris; mit dem Großsiegelbewahrer Cardinal Brotrand reiste er nach Rom, ließ sich bei seiner Rückkehr als praktischer Arzt in Toulouse nieder u. st. 1588. Er hat sich nicht nur als Arzt, sondern auch als Astrolog u. Mathematiker bekannt gemacht u. schr.: De diebus decretoriis, Lyon 1541 u. 49; De somniis, ebd. 1549; Des jugemens astronom. sur les nativitez, ebd. 1550; De pudendagra, Toul. 1553, u. ö.; De radice China, Toul. 1554; Vera methodus medendi, ebd. 1557, u. ö.; Avertissement à Jean Bodin, Toul. 1580. 2) Vincent, s. Ferrerius.
