Kirtland, Postort in der Grafschaft Lake des Staates Ohio (Nordamerika), an einem Arm des Chagrin River; ursprünglich der Hauptsitz der Mormonen, deren erster Tempel 1835 hier gebaut wurde; seitdem die Mormonen K. verlassen haben, stehen viele Häuser leer; hier noch das Western Reserve Teacher's Seminary; 2000 Ew.
