Pnyx, 1) im alten Athen ein hochgelegener Ort zwischen dem Hügel der Nymphen u. dem Museum mit Sitzen, welche in den Felsen eingehauen waren, wo die Volksversammlungen gehalten wurden; daher 2) die Volksversammlung der athenischen Bürger.
