Deyverdun (spr. Döwerdeng), Georg, geb. 1735 in Lausanne, lebte lange in England, wo er Gibbons treuster Freund war, kehrte 1788 nach Lausanne zurück u. st. hier 1789; er gab heraus die Mém. litt. de la grande Bretagne, London 1768 f., 2 Bde.; übersetzte auch französisch Goethes Werther, Mastricht 1784.
