Dindymus (a. Geogr.), 1) Gebirg in Phrygien; 2) Berg in Mysien bei Kyzikos (welches daher Dindymis hieß). Von ihm führte Kybele, welcher hier die Argonauten einen Tempel bauten, den Namen Dindymĕne. Auch der Heros Kyzikos hatte hier einen Tempel u. Atys lag auf dem D. begraben.
