Echīnä (Echinădes, a. Geogr.), mehrere kleine Inseln im Ionischen Meere, an der Küste von Ätolien u. Akarnanien, vor der Mündung des Acheloos; nach einer Mythe aus 5 Mädchen entstanden, welche Acheloos, weil sie ihn nicht zum Opfermahle geladen hatten, in die Inseln verwandelte; jetzt Curzolari. Eine derselben war Dolicha od. Dulichion (s.d.). Bei ihnen 1571 Sieg des Andreas Doria über die Türken.
