Higgons, Bevil, geb. 1670 in Kezo, studirte in Oxford, war ein eifriger Anhänger des Hauses Stuart, floh 1688 mit König Jakob II. nach Frankreich, kehrte nach dessen Tode 1701 in sein Vaterland zurück, wurde Professor in Oxford, später in [371] Cambridge u. st 1735.
