Leprarĭa, 1) L. Ach., Pflanzengattung aus der Familie der Lichenes-Coniothalami-Pulverarieae; Arten: aus verschieden gefärbten Überzügen von seinen Fäden u. Keimkörnern bestehend, auf Steinen, Baumrinden u. anderen, auch der Erzeugung der Flechten günstigen Stellen. Hierher wurde gerechnet als L. iolithus, rothe, gran werdende, kreisförmig ausgebreitete, angenehm wie Veilchen riechende, kurze, gelbliche Fäden, auf Steinen, die deshalb Veilchensteine heißen, in rauhen Waldgebirgen des kälteren Europa; gegen Hautkrankheiten angewendet, welches von Auderen als Amphiconium petraeum od. als Byssus iolithus aufgeführt ist. 2) Gattung aus der Familie der Hyphomycetes.
