Saint-Lubin (spr. Säng Lübäng), Léon de, geb. 1801 in Turin, Violinist, kam frühzeitig nach Hamburg, ging 1820 nach Wien, wurde hier 1823 erster Geiger am Josephstädter Theater u. 1824 Kapellmeister; er ging als Musikdirector nach Ungarn, kehrte aber nach Wien zurück, wurde 1830 Concertmeister am Königsstädter Theater zu Berlin u. st. hier 1850; er schr. mehres für sein Instrument, setzte das Melodram Belisar, die Opern König Branors Schwert, das Zauberhorn, Goldfisch u. die Posse: Doctor Fausts Vetter.
