Serolīn

Serolīn, von Boudet als eigenthümlicher Körper im Blutserum unterschieden, ist ein Gemeng verschiedener Fette; bildet perlmutterglänzende Flocken, welche aus seinen Krystallnadeln bestehen; wenig löslich in kaltem Alkohol, leicht löslich in heißem Alkohol u. in Äther; ohne Reaction auf Pflanzenfarben; schmilzt bei 360, durch Alkalien wird es nicht verseift. Man erhält es, wenn man Blut eintrocknet, mit Wasser auskocht, von neuem trocknet u. mit heißem Alkohol auszieht; das S. scheidet sich beim Erkalten in Flocken aus.
