Stourm, Augustin, geb. 21. Juli 1797 in Metz, wo sein Vater unter der Restauration Präsident des Cassationshofes war, studirte in Paris die Rechte, wurde 1819 Advokat, hierauf Mitglied des Magistrata, dann Staatsprocurator am königl. Hofe zu Troyes u. Mitglied des Generalraths vom Aubedepartement u. endlich Substitut am Civiltribunal der Seine. 1831 wurde er wegen Unterzeichnung der Denkschrift Association nationale contre le retour des Bourbons abgesetzt, hierauf wieder Advocat in Paris u. gab 1833 mit Gillon den Code des municipalités heraus. 1839 u. 1842 wurde er Mitglied der Deputirtenkammer, wo er zur Linken gehörte, u. 1846 Director der Paris-Lyoner Eisenbahn; 1848 wählte ihn das Aubedepartement in die Constituante u. 1849 ward er im Staatsrathe Vorstand für die Section für die Verwaltung, aber nach dem Staatsstreiche vom 2. Dec. 1851 entlassen.
