Mahadeo, ein Gebirge im mittleren Indien, zum Systeme des Vindhya gehörig, nach einem Tempel der gleichnamigen indischen Gottheit benannt, im nördlichen Theile des Gebiets von Nagpore, erreicht die Höhe von 5000 Fuß; die wichtigsten Gipfel sind Dokgur, 4800 Fuß, Putta Sunkur (über der Höhle von Mahadeo), Choura-Deo (5000 Fuß), Dowlagheree, Chindwara, Pachmarhi etc.
