Epigĕnes, 1) alter sikyonischer Tragiker, lebte nach Angabe alter Literatoren noch vor Thespis. 2) Dichter der mittleren Attischen Komödie, lebte zur Zeit des Antiphanes; von ihm sind die Titel von 5 Komödien u. nur wenige Fragmente bekannt. 3) E. aus Rhodos, griechischer Schriftsteller über Landbau, dessen Werk verloren gegangen ist.
