Kirjath (d.i. Stadt), 1) K.-Arba, so v.w. Hebron; 2) K.-Jearim (d.i. Waldstadt, K.-Baal), Stadt in Palästina im Stamme Juda. Bei der Rückkehr aus dem Lande der Philister wurde hier die Bundeslade niedergesetzt u. von da von David abgeholt; 3) K.-Sepher, Name der Stadt Debir (s.d.) vor Ankunft der Israeliten.
