Demosthenes) bekämpft wurde. 2) Bruder des älteren Dionysius, Anführer der sicilianischen Flotte gegen die Carthager, wurde 390 v. Chr. von seinem Bruder entsetzt u. verbannt; später zurückberufen, fiel er 383 in der Schlacht bei Kronion.
