Pimas, indianische Völkerschaft in dem Staate Sonora (Mexico), redet eigne Sprache (Pimasprache) in 13 verschiedenen Mundarten, ist zum Theil zum katholischen Cultus übergegangen; ihr Land liegt nördlich, heißt Pimeria u. theilt sich durch den Fluß Ascension in Pimeria alta (reich an Gold) u.
