Anāpos (a. Geogr.), 1) Fluß in Akarnanien, mündete in den Acheloos; 2) Fluß in Sicilien, fiel durch den Sumpf Syraco bei Syrakus ins Meer; jetzt Alseo. Er nahm den Bach Cyane (j. Pisma) auf, daher die Fabel von der von A. geliebten Nymphe Cyane, einer Gespielin der Proserpina. Als sie in eine Quelle zerfloß, ward A. in einen Fluß verwandelt.
