Larymna

Larymna (a. Geogr.), Stadt in Böotien, an der Mündung des Kephissos in das Euböische Meer. Die obere Stadt (Ano-L.) beim jetzigen Dorfe Bazaraki, gehörte zum Böotischen Bunde; die untere (Kato-L.), jetzt Kastri, war Hafenstadt u. gehörte den Opuntischen Lokrern; die Römer zogen die Einw. von Ano-L. nach der Hafenstadt u. schlugen sie zu Böotien.
