Printz von Buchau, ein aus Österreich stammendes, nach der Reformation zum Theil nach Holstein ausgewandertes u. von da nach der Mark u. nach Ostpreußen gekommenes Geschlecht, welches 1661 in den Freiherrnstand erhoben wurde; jetziger Chef: Freiherr Hermann Friedrich August, geb. 1813, Senior der Familie u. mecklenburgischer Rittmeister u. Escadronchef.
