Rigaltius (Rigault), Nicolaus, geb. 1577 in Paris, Advocat u. Philolog, wurde Bibliothekar bei der königlichen Bibliothek, 1613 Parlementsrath in Metz, dann Generalprocureur bei der Kammer in Nancy, zuletzt Intendant der Landschaft Metz u. st. 1654 in Toul; er schr. u.a.: Glossarium μιξοβάρβαρον, Par. 1601; Vita S. Romani, Rouen 1609 : Apologeticus pro rege Ludovico XIII., Par. 1626 (deutsch 1634); gab heraus den Onosander, Par. 1599, 1600; Phädrus ebd. 1599 u.ö.; Artemidoros, ebd. 1603; Martialis, ebd. 1601; Rei agrariae autores, Amsterd.[162] 1674; Tertullian, Par. 1634; Minucius Felix, ebd. 1643 u.ö.; Cyprianus, ebd. 1648, Fol. u.ö.
