Communi

Communi (ital.), in dem österreichischen Italien gewisse Gemeinden, welche ursprünglichdeutsche Einwanderer, deutsche Sprache, Gewohnheiten u. Verfassung bewahrt haben u. in eigenem Gemeindeverband u. Districten am Südabhang der Alpen wohnen. Es sind dies: a) die Tredici communi (13 Gemeinden), in der Diöcese Verona des österreichischen Kronlandes Venedig; 12,300 Bewohner wohnen auf 4,2 österr. QM., reden (verdorbenes) Deutsch, mit eigener Verfassung (Kleiner Rath von 13 u. Großer Rath von 39 Mitgliedern), wohnen in 13 Ortschaften. Von diesen gehören zur Pretura Verona: Erbezzo, Bosco Frizolane (Chiesa nuova), Val di Porro u. Cerro; zur Pretura Tregnano: Rovere di Velo, Porcara, Saline, Belo, Azarino, Campo Silvano, Badia Calavena, Selva di Progno, S. Bartolommeo Tedesco. b) Die Setti communi (7 Gemeinden), in der Diöcese Padua, aus den Gemeinden Rotzo (Rozzo), Roana, Asiago, Hauptort der 7 Gemeinden u. Sitz der Pretura, Gallio, Foza (Fossa), Enego, Giacomo di Lusiana bestehend, zusammen 13 Pfarreien u. 1 Curatie auf 7,56 österr. QM. mit 22,750 Ew.; hatten auch eigenes Gericht, welches aus 14 Richtern u. 1 Schreiber zusammengesetzt war.
