Pasquotank, 1) P. River, Fluß im Staate Nord Carolina (Nordamerika), entspringt im Dismal Swamp, bildet die Grenze zwischen den Grafschaften Camden u. P. u. fällt in den Albemarle Sound des Atlantischen Oceans; er ist durch einen Kanal mit dem Elizabeth River in Virginia verbunden, wodurch Schiffe aus dem Albemarle Sound in die Chesapeake Bai gelangen können; 2) Grafschaft im Staate Nord Carolina, 14 QM., im Norden vom P. River begrenzt; Producte: Mais, Weizen, Hafer; 1729 organisirt; 1850: 8950 Ew., worunter 3105 Sklaven; Hauptort: Elizabeth.
