Reuvens, Kaspar Jakob Christian, geb. 1793 im Haag, studirte seit 1810 in Leyden u. Paris die Rechte, kehrte 1814 nach Amsterdam zurück u. prakticirte daselbst als Advocat, wurde 1815 Professor der klassischen Literatur u. Geschichte am Athenäum in Harderwijk, 1818 Professor der Archäologie in Leyden, leitete später die Ausgrabungen in Arentzburg, welche er nach der Revolution auf eigene Kosten fortsetzen ließ, u. st. 1837 in Rotterdam. Er schr.: Collectanea literaria, Leyden 1815; Periculum animadversionum archaeolog. ad cippos punicos Musei ant., ebd. 1822; Korte beschrijving en plan des rom. bouwvallen gevonden ter waarchijnlijker plaatse van het Forum Hadriani op te hofstede Arentsburg, Haag 1829, Fol.; Lettres à M.
