Dele Court (spr. Dele-Kuhr), Victor Humbert Joseph Hubert (pseudonym Van der Howe), geb. 1806 zu Bergen im Hennegau, studirte in Löwen Rechtswissenschaft u. wurde Vorsitzender des Strafgerichts erster Instanz in Brüssel, befaßte sich in seinen Mußestunden mit dem Studium der Niederländischen u. Flämischen Sprache u. Literatur u. förderte, obgleich Wallone von Geburt, die nationale Bewegung der Flamländer für Wiederbelebung ihrer Sprache u. Dichtkunst u. für Wiederherstellung derselben als Gerichtssprache in den flämischen Districten. Er st. 1853 u. schr.: La langue flamande, 1844; Over den Nadruk,1646; Staeltjen der Volksprake in't hertogdom Sleswig, 1649; De Verbuigingen der sud-, middel-en nieuwnederduitsche sprake, 1850; u. gab mit I. W. Wolf das Journal Broederhand, voor hoogduitsche, nederduitsche en noordche Letterkun de, heraus.
