Magister sacri palatii u. 1550 unter Julius III. Bischof von Modena: unter Paul IV der Heterodoxie verdächtig, saß er 15567 Monate lang in der Engelsburg; 1561 wurde er zum Concil nach Trient geschickt u. 1563 in die Commission zur Abfassung eines Katechismus gewählt u. st. 1564 in Rom.
