Strattis, 1) Tyrann von Chios im 5. Jahrh. v. Chr.; stand in dem Kriegsrath wegen Abbrechung der Brücke des Königs Darios über den Ister auf der Seite des Histiäos gegen Miltiades u. verlangte Treue gegen den König; im zweiten Perserkriege machten 479 v. Chr. einige seiner Unterthanen eine Verschwörung gegen sein Leben, um dann zu den Griechen überzugehen, aber der Plan wurde verrathen u. die Verschwörer mußten fliehen. 2) Ein Dichter der älteren Attischen Komödie im 5. u. 4. Jahrh. v. Chr.; er schrieb 16 Komödien, von denen meist noch die Titel bekannt sind, im 2. Bd. von Meineke's Fragmenta poetarum comic. graec. 3) S. aus Olynthos, griechischer Historiker, welcher u.a. mehres über Alexander den Großen schrieb, wovon nichts auf unsere Zeit gekommen ist.
