Äschli), 1) Fluß im nordamerikanischen Staate Süd-Carolina, entspringt im District Colleton, vereinigt sich mit dem Cooperfluß u. bildet den Charleston Hafen; 2) See in der Grafschaft Iron, im nordamerikanischen Gebiet Utah, 5 Meilen lang, 2 Meilen breit; 3) Grafschaft im nordamerikanischen Staate Arkansas, grenzt an Louisiana, 40 QM., Boden hügelig, fruchtbar, Prairien; Producte: Baumwolle, Mais, Tabak. Bartholomewcanal mit Dampfschifffahrt; über 2000 Ew., wovon gegen 700 Sklaven; Hauptstadt Fountain Hill; 4) Stadt im Stadtbezirk Oxford, Grafschaft Delaware, im nordamerikanischen Staate Ohio, an der Cleveland Columbus Eisenbahn, Bahnhof; 600 Ew.; 5) (Ashley-City od. New-Baltimore), Hafenplatz in der Grafschaft Macomb, im nordamerikanischen Staate Michigan, am St. Clair See.
