Theodĕmir, 1) Sohn Richimers, Fürst der Franken, fiel nebst seiner Mutter Ascila 448 n. Chr. durch die Römer, nach Andern 420 in der Schlacht gegen Castinus. 2) Sohn Winithars, König der Ostgothen bis 475, s.u. Gothen II. A). 3) Sohn Cariarichs, folgte seinem Vater 559–569 als König der Sueven in Spanien, s.d. S. 355. 4) Im 8. Jahrh. König der Westgothen in Murcia, s.u. Gothen S. 500. 5) Abt von Psalmodi in der Diöcese von Nismes, st. um 825; er hatte einen gelehrten Streit mit Claudius, Bischof von Turin, über die Bilder- u. Reliquienverehrung.
