Harford, 1) Grafschaft im Staate Maryland (Nordamerika), 22 QM.; im Nordosten vom Susquehanna River, im Südosten von der Chesapeake Bai begrenzt, vom Deer Creek durchflossen; Producte: Mais, Weizen, Hafer; Eisen; Rindvieh, [36] Schweine; die Philadelphia-Baltimore Eisenbahn u. der Tidewater Kanal durchschneiden die Grafschaft; 1850: 19,356 Ew., worunter 2166 Sklaven; Hauptort: Bel Air; 2) Städtischer Bezirk mit Postamt (Post-township) in der Grafschaft Cortland des Staates New York; 1000 Ew.; 3) Städtischer Bezirk mit Postamt in der Grafschaft Susquehanna des Staates Pennsylvanien; 1400 Einw.
